During the
Christmas Holidays, the Lady Jackets finished 3-1 at the McDonalds All-Star
Shootout in College Station. On December 27th, Rockwall defeated
Conroe Oak Ridge in the opening game 74-38 with Ellen Baker and Sara Williamson
leading the way with 17 points each. Later that day the Lady Jackets beat
Corpus Christie Ray 65-55. Hannah Hughes had 19 points to lead all scorers.
The
next day RHS lost to eventual tourney champion Katy Seven Lakes 45-27.
Williamson scored 16 in the defeat. The Lady Jackets bounced back that evening
to close out the tournament with a resounding 64-33 victory over Spring
Westfield where Williamson scored 19 and Baker added 15. The final victory
upped the Lady Jackets record to 17-6 on the season.
