The Lady
Jackets defeated North Mesquite 60-53 on Wednesday. Trailing after the
second and third quarters, they showed that Jacket Fight Never Dies by
outscoring North Mesquite 18-8 in the fourth quarter. Sara Williamson led
all scorers with 26 points and the Varsity has started district play at 4-0
with an overall record of 18-6.
The JV team
won 60-16 giving them a 19-1 record on the season. The Freshman team got the
56-19 win behind the scoring effort of Holly Adams with 18 points.
The Lady
Jackets continue district play on Tuesday when they host Mesquite in a tough
district battle.
