The Future Lady Jackets Basketball Program is a progressive feeder program for the Rockwall High School Girl’s Basketball Team. It is designed to build continuity and a family atmosphere among the entire Rockwall Basketball community. But most of all… it’s fun!
We had teams playing in Plano last year and the girls did awesome, but we thought – why are we driving all the way to Plano to play? Surely we can find some girl’s in Rockwall who want to play basketball! So we are forming teams at each of the six elementary schools in the Rockwall High School Attendance Zone this fall. And we decided to make it very user friendly by keeping the league short – it’s only 4 weeks long! The goal is to get one team per grade at each school (K & 1st combined)… AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Players: We are currently signing up players - see the back of this page for the registration form. You don’t have to be a star player; you just have to want to have fun with your school friends while you learn how to play basketball the Lady Jacket Way! Seriously… sign up – we are going to have a ton of fun! Signs ups are due Oct 9th.
Coaches: We are also on the lookout for parents who are willing to be trained by the Rockwall Varsity Coaches to help coach the kids. All of our coaches are parent volunteers.
Cost: $50 per player. Girls that participate will get the following:
- 2 FREE skills sessions taught by RHS Coaches and Future Lady Jacket Coaches.
- A short 4-week basketball season to teach basic skills and The Lady Jacket Way.
- 5 games over 3 weekends against the other elementary schools in the RHS Attendance Zone. All games and practices will be at RISD facilities.
- 2 T-shirts to show their Lady Jacket pride.
- A chance to go on the court at halftime at 3 Lady Jacket Varsity Home Games this season!
How do I register?: Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to register online, so email marc@ladyjacketsbasketball.com for a registration form. Also, registration forms will go home in the Thursday folder at each of the 6 elementary schools on September 1st.
