The 8th grade girls faced Rockwall Cain at home tonight for their season opener. The C team started the night defeating the Mustangs 14-11. Mie' Lewis led the way scoring 4 points in the second half.
The B team was also victorious, winning their game 29-10. Lauren Ledbetter and Emily Drewery had 6 points each including 2 big free throws by Drewery.
The A team finished the night with a 35-31 victory. Leading in scoring was Sara Williamson with 14 points, including shooting 4 for 5 from the free throw line.
Great job on your season opener girls. These girls will return to action after the Thanksgiving holiday on Dec. 2nd vs. Allen Curtis.
