The Lady Jackets earned a hard-fought victory against
Ursuline, winning the first round of the Frisco ISD Tournament Classic,
45-43. Down at the half, the Lady Jackets came out in the third quarter
to regain the lead, and then battled.
Megan Grandy hit a last second shot to seal the victory and advance
to the second round to face the winner of Wylie or Lewisville at Frisco
Liberty at 10:30am. Leading scorers were Ellen Baker and Sara
Williamson with 14 points each.
The JV was also victorious, defeating the host team,
Frisco Liberty, 57-36. Regan Gladney and Mandi McMillan lead all scorers
with 14 each! They will play at 10:30am at Frisco Centennial against a
tough Flower Mound Marcus team.
