After a busy weekend, the Lady Jackets were back at it on Tuesday night for their season home opener. They faced a tough Lakeview Centennial team, but were able to secure a 70 - 65 victory. Hannah Hughes was active on both ends of the floor scoring 22 points and securing five steals. Ellen Baker was hot behind the arc hitting six of eight three point attempts to finish with 21 points.
The JV team won 49-41 behind strong efforts of Rachel Farrow and Mandi McMillan.

The Lady Jacket Basketball Team has had great players in the past, and we are looking forward to the Future Lady Jackets joining us in the upcoming years!
I hope that the young girls in Rockwall are beginning to “dream big” for the future. As the Varsity coach, I certainly want our basketball team to be successful each and every season. Our goal is to win district, Regional, and State Championships! Even more important than championships is the development of these girls as individuals. We want Lady Jackets to grow in character and to become better people through their involvement in the program.

Purpose
The purpose of the Future Lady Jacket Basketball Program is to develop the fundamental basketball skills of each individual player by teaching team concepts through quality coaching and practice sessions.
The Future Lady Jacket Basketball Program is a progressive 4th – 8th grade feeder program for the Rockwall High School Girl’s Basketball Team. It is designed to build continuity and a family atmosphere among the entire Rockwall Basketball community.
