The Lady Jackets beat the Garland Owls 46-45 Tuesday night in a thrilling, come from behind overtime win at RHS. Morghen Day and Alyssa Lang led the team in scoring with 12 points each. Day had 6 boards and 4 steals and a couple of highlight real baskets to bring the Lady Jackets back in regulation. Lang added 15 boards. Freshmen Sara Williamson made 2 HUGE free throws in overtime, which scored the last points of the game and gave the Lady Jackets the one point victory.
The JV Lady Jackets also won Tuesday night 64-34. Cassie Ross led the team in scoring with 24 points and had 13 steals. She was followed by Hannah Hernandez with 13 points, Ka'Bri Person with 11 points, and Regan Galdney with 10 points.
The Lady Jacket Freshman A team upped their record to 2-0 beating Garland 46-11. Rachel Farrow led the scoring with 17 points and Nicole Smith added 14.
The Lady Jackets will be traveling to Mesquite Poteet on Friday. JV will start at 6 pm followed by Varsity at 7:30 pm.
