What a Game!! The Lady Jackets hosted McKinney North Tuesday night in a battle for first place of district 10-4A. The Lady Jackets came out fired up and ready to play defeating McKinney North 64-41. In a great overall team effort, four Lady Jackets scored in double figures. They were Kayla Smith with 20 points, Paige Turner with 15 points, Hannah Hughes with 13 points, and Alyssa Lang with 11 points. The Lady Jackets are now 20-6 overall and 5-1 in district.
The JV team also came out ready to play defeating McKinney North's undefeated JV team 33-27. Julia Sealock led the team in scoring with 9 points. The JV is now 19-1 overall and 6-0 in district.
The Lady Jackets will play Friday, January 14th at JJ Pearce at 6 and 7:30pm to finish out the first round of district.

The Lady Jacket Basketball Team has had great players in the past, and we are looking forward to the Future Lady Jackets joining us in the upcoming years!
I hope that the young girls in Rockwall are beginning to “dream big” for the future. As the Varsity coach, I certainly want our basketball team to be successful each and every season. Our goal is to win district, Regional, and State Championships! Even more important than championships is the development of these girls as individuals. We want Lady Jackets to grow in character and to become better people through their involvement in the program.

Purpose
The purpose of the Future Lady Jacket Basketball Program is to develop the fundamental basketball skills of each individual player by teaching team concepts through quality coaching and practice sessions.
The Future Lady Jacket Basketball Program is a progressive 4th – 8th grade feeder program for the Rockwall High School Girl’s Basketball Team. It is designed to build continuity and a family atmosphere among the entire Rockwall Basketball community.
