The 3rd Grade Future Lady Jackets lost a tough game late Saturday night to the Jaguars at the PSA. The Jaguars had a huge size advantage, but the Lady Jackets used their quickness and aggressive play to keep the game close throughout. Ella Laurence and Mallory McCartney both made a basket and Celia Straight made a critical FT at the end of the 3rd quarter to cut the Jaguar lead to 8-5. With just a few seconds left in the game the Jaguars added a basket to post a final score of 10-5.
If this first game is any indication it looks like we have a group of tough basketball players in the third grade. Expect great things from these girls.
