Rockwall 60 :: Plano West 56

Led by 27 points from Alyssa Lang and 12 from Hannah Hughes the Rockwall Lady Jackets overcame a 10 point 4th quarter deficit to win their opening game of the season at Plano West. The Lady Jackets outscored Plano West 17-3 in the final period. This was a great start to the Lady Jackets season as Plano West is routinely one of the best teams in all of 5A. Rockwall will be back in action this weekend at the Belton Tournament.

The Lady Jacket Basketball Team has had great players in the past, and we are looking forward to the Future Lady Jackets joining us in the upcoming years!

I hope that the young girls in Rockwall are beginning to “dream big” for the future. As the Varsity coach, I certainly want our basketball team to be successful each and every season. Our goal is to win district, Regional, and State Championships! Even more important than championships is the development of these girls as individuals. We want Lady Jackets to grow in character and to become better people through their involvement in the program.

We hope to see you at the Lady Jackets games this season! I am excited about the FUTURE LADY JACKETS program!
