Lady Jackets Defeat Garland

Rockwall beat a 5A opponent on the road in come from behind fashion for the second time this season with a 44-33 victory over Garland. The Lady Owls jumped out to a 14-0 lead, but Rockwall fought back to eventually take control of the game. Alyssa Lang led the Lady Jackets in scoring with 18 and Hannah Hughes added 10. The Lady Jackets will host Poteet in Friday night at their home opener.

The Lady Jacket Basketball Team has had great players in the past, and we are looking forward to the Future Lady Jackets joining us in the upcoming years!

I hope that the young girls in Rockwall are beginning to “dream big” for the future. As the Varsity coach, I certainly want our basketball team to be successful each and every season. Our goal is to win district, Regional, and State Championships! Even more important than championships is the development of these girls as individuals. We want Lady Jackets to grow in character and to become better people through their involvement in the program.

We hope to see you at the Lady Jackets games this season! I am excited about the FUTURE LADY JACKETS program!
