The Lady
Jackets played a very tough McKinney North team Friday night and lost a hard
fought battle 41-40. Alyssa Lang led the team in scoring with 12 points. The
Lady Jackets have secured the District Championship and still have one game
remaining against JJ Pearce on Tuesday.
The JV
team won 45-16. KK Hutton led the team in scoring with 14 points followed by Hannah
Hernandez with 10 points. The JV team remains undefeated in district play with
one game to go.
The Freshman
got another good win tonight against McKinney North capping an undefeated
season at home. Sparked by a 23 point first quarter, the Freshman Lady Jackets
won 48-21. Leading scorer was Rachel Farrow with 13, followed by Krystal Contreras
with 10, and Mandi McMillan with 9 points. McMillan was also the leading
rebounder with 12 rebounds for the game.
All three
teams will be traveling to Pearce Tuesday night for their last district game.
JV will start at 6 followed by varsity at 7:30.
