The Future Lady Jackets Basketball Program is a progressive feeder program for the Rockwall High School Girl’s Basketball Team. It is designed to build continuity and a family atmosphere among the entire Rockwall Basketball community. But most of all… it’s fun!
The Future Lady Jackets will be forming teams at each of the six elementary schools in the Rockwall High School Attendance Zone this fall. There will be one team per grade at each school (except for K & 1st which will be combined).
Girls That Participate Will Get The Following:
- Two skills sessions taught by RHS Coaches along with Future Lady Jacket Coaches.
- A short 4-week basketball season to teach basic skills and The Lady Jacket Way.
- 5 games over 3 weekends against the other elementary schools in the RHS Attendance Zone. All games and practices will be at RISD facilities.
- 2 T-shirts to show their Lady Jacket pride.
- A chance to go on the court at halftime at 3 Lady Jacket Varsity Home Games during the 2011/2012 season!
Dates: Sign ups will begin the first week of school. Skill sessions will begin in October. Games will be October 29, November 5 & 12.
Interested Players: Send an email letting us know you have a player who is interested in playing next fall. Just tell us the players name and what grade they are entering into.
Interested Coaches: All coaches are volunteer parents who are taught by the RHS Varsity Coaches. All Future Lady Jacket teams run the same skills, drills and plays that our Varsity team does. Every practice is planned by the Varsity Coaches. If you are interested in coaching then please tells us via email.
