The Lady Jackets hosted Highland Park Tuesday night and won 64-35. Rockwall cruised to a 20-2 first quarter lead and never looked back. Hannah Hughes led the team in scoring with 19 points followed by Kayla Smith with 16 points, Paige Turner with 13 points, and Alyssa Lang with 12 points. The girls improved their record to 22-6 overall and 7-1 in district.
The JV team also won Tuesday night 46-30. Kendyl Pirkey led the team in scoring with 14 points. The JV is now 21-1 overall and 8-0 in district.
Both teams will travel to Wylie Friday night to play Wylie High at 6 and 7:30pm.
