The Lady Jackets went across town Tuesday night to take on the Heath Hawks. The Lady Jackets won 40-30. Kayla Smith led the team in scoring with 16 points. It was a great defensive effort the team, which is now 18-6 and 3-1 district.
The JV team also defeated the Heath Hawks 52-21. Candice Schmucker led the team in scoring with 14 points followed by Kaelyn Hutton with 11 points. The JV team is now 17-1 and 4-0 in district.
Both teams will resume play on Friday at Wylie East High School.
